Moteck Mowers and Machining has recently change hands and we are reviewing all of our operations
For those who are wanting to purchase components for their Scott Bonner mowers and to remove confusion with the current order system we are suspending taking orders as an interim measure whist we continue to set up our CNC machines etc and source our best suppliers.
It is our intention to establish a level of stock of all items for a quicker response to orders that corresponds to customers’ needs with quicker despatch.
We will also be improving the website for clarity on product description, cost, and include stock levels and hopefully the inclusion of improved order shipping costings
In the meantime all current orders will be fulfilled when components become available.
When we remove the GENERAL NOTICE, this will indicate we are back and ready to provide the improved service

MMCM 17″ Rear Roller Halves (Pair)
INTRODUCTORY PRICING FOR THE FIRST BATCH ONLY!
MMCM’s new CNC-machined billet steel rear roller halves to suit your 17″ Scott Bonnar 45 or Rover mower. Includes pilot-reamed brass bushings.
These rear roller halves are approximately 2kg heavier than the originals for improved mowing and stripes. Rollers are grooved to 1.5mm and feature 6 x threaded ratchet box holes for convenience. End caps are designed to fit existing PVC sleeves.
Set of two.
Please note ratchet boxes (chariot wheels) are not included. These rollers halves are designed to fit your existing ratchet boxes. Your ratchet boxes can optionally be re-bushed and pilot reamed.

End caps are supplied welded to drums but are shown here disassembled for illustration purposes.

I heard about Moteck and their amazing mower reels a couple of years ago. I embarked on a project to do another (number 10) complete restoration on a Scott Bonnar 45 17” mower and chose MMCM to supply the cylinder and front roller assembly. As I opened each parcel, the only word that came to mind was WOW! The engineering excellence is just perfect. The front roller has been redesigned to be way better than the original. Likewise the 8 blade cylinder— simply perfection. I unwrapped the cylinder and lowered it into the bearing holder and it spun perfectly true. Adjusting the blade gap was easy. I would recommend Moteck to anyone considering restoring a Scott Bonnar cylinder mower.

I bought an 8 blade 17” reel from MMCM about 12 months ago. To say it’s good is an understatement. It is by far, the best Scott Bonnar reel I have ever seen. Razor sharp, perfectly balanced, this reel took me to another level. 12 months after I bought it, I have adjusted the reel to bedknife probably less than 6 times and I use this mower 2-3 times a week. I have not had a need to back lap and it does not need to be sharpened! If you are looking for the best for your Scott Bonnar, talk to Moteck because they makes the best!
